Description : 
The apparatus comprises a ten-liter reactor vessel affixed to a vacuum-formed plastic base, accompanied by a liquid feed pump, air supply, and instrumentation for precise process monitoring and control.
The reactor's cylindrical wall is constructed from porous plastic material, facilitating the retention of suspended solids while allowing treated water to pass through to the outer annular exit chamber. 
This innovative design enables the study of essential aerobic treatment process aspects without the hindrance of settling solids, a common laboratory challenge.
The removable porous liner facilitates easy cleaning, with a spare liner provided for convenience. 
Wastewater is drawn from a floor-standing feed tank by a DC motor-driven peristaltic pump, allowing precise adjustment of rotational speed and flow rate via a ten-turn potentiometer.

Water level is maintained via an adjustable constant head overflow device.
Designed for safe and reproducible operation over extended periods.
Mounted on a molded plastic base with an internally molded drain channel to manage spillages and wash-down water effectively.
